While you're burning energy along the trail often your need a boost. Granola bars are just the thing. Grab a few of these each morning a put them in your belt pouch or pack pocket where they are handy along the way.
This granola bar consisted of oats, peanuts and crisp rice, with a coating of peanut butter on the bottom of the bar. The dominant taste is the sugary peanut butter coating, but you could also taste the actual peanuts inside the bar. The texture is very chewy but not hard, and the taste excellent, sweet but not too sweet.
Portions:
One pouch holds two bars for a total of 170 calories and 42 grams. Plan on at least one pouch per person per day to go along with all your other snacks.
