Description:
Those who have never tried Cream of Potato Soup might think, "Potato soup? How bland!", but once you get all the onions, carrots, garlic, chives and spices happening, it is a real treat!
Portions:
The package says two, but on an outing you are pretty active and your going to eat more. 2 per package.
Preparation:
- In a large saucepan, whisk soup mix with 3 1/2 cups (875 mL) cold water and 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk. Bring to a boil over moderately high heat, whisking constantly.
- Reduce heat, cover partially and simmer gently 10 minutes, whisking occasionally.
Ingredients:
Dried vegetables (potatoes, onions, carrots, garlic, chives), corn starch, wheat flour, salt, modified milk ingredients, maltodextrin, monosodium glutamate, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural flavour, canola oil, guar gum, hydrolyzed soy/corn/wheat protein, spices, dried parsley, potassium phosphate, sodium silicoaluminate, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, mono & diglycerides, citric acid, sodium phosphate, colour, autolyzed yeast extract and sulphites.
Note:
Make sure you don't ruin it by mixing into hot water. You will never get the lumps out - and its not like you can phone out for a pizza. And don't forget to pack powdered milk. It goes in the soup.
